My Time Piece is as Versatile as My Lifestyle

I'm an pretty boring accountant during the week, but come Friday afternoon when my shift is up, and I'm a regular mountain man.

Every weekend I’m either playing rugby with my buddies, going on fishing trips, organizing camping events, rock climbing trips, hiking, or cycling—basically if it’s outdoors and slightly dangerous, I’m all over it.

But during the week, I’m back into office mode and have to put my adventures off until 5 p.m. on Friday when I roll up my sleeves and hit the road.

So being that I love discount luxury watches, it’s important that I have one that can keep up with my out-the-door and on-the-go adventures, and still look good in the office. The perfect solution to the rugged, yet luxury watch dilemma is the Citizen Eco-Drive Sky Hawk A-T.

The watch is black stainless steel and equipped with Atomic timekeeping with radio controlled accuracy, world time in 43 cities, 2 alarms, a perpetual calendar, a power reserve indicator, and it’s waterproof for up to 200 meters.

This durable yet refined watch was perfect for my active lifestyle, but classy enough to wear to the office and coordinate with my suit. And the best part is, My Time Piece has this watch for 25% off, as well as an impressive selection of other amazing discount luxury watches.

I Need A Scratch Proof Crystal In My Timepiece. Do You?

When I think about my timepiece, I know what’s important to me based on how I wear my watch. In the past, I’ve had nice watches that eventually get scratched and beat up. Part of the reason that happens is because sometimes I find myself getting sloppy, accidentally banging my hand into walls. It’s also natural that after wearing my watch every day it shows signs of wear and tear.

But after deciding that I really want to invest in my timepiece, I searched discount luxury watches to see what I could find. I realized that I should really buy a watch with a scratch proof crystal, because there is nothing worse than having a huge scratch on the face of your watch that won’t rub out.

Tag Heuer makes very nice watches with scratch proof crystals, and after browsing on mytimepiece.com, I found a watch that is perfect for me. It’s sleek and stylish, durable enough for everyday wear, yet classy enough to wear out on Saturday night. And man do I get compliments on it.

But mytimepiece.com has more than just Tags, they have a wide selection of discount luxury watches. Watches are normally very expensive, so it was a relief to find my watch for such a good price. I hope you’re as lucky as I am!

How To Change The Battery In Your Tag Heuer Watch

A time piece, like any other product, needs to be taken care of and maintained. This is actually a really easy thing to do if you have the right tools on hand and should only take you a few minutes to do.

Many watches out there are battery operated and if you’re battery runs out on you, it’s time to get your tiny tool box and get to work! First off you need to turn your Tag Heuer watch over so that the back is facing you, make sure you place something soft underneath the crystal or it might get scratched.

You will need Jeweler's size screwdrivers, a work light and a magnifying glass possibly. Remove the back cover by removing the screws using the watch tool. Usually the screws will be flat bedded on the cover of the watch. Next, you need to remove the gasket which is the piece of plastic or rubber around the edges of the cover. Make sure you set everything aside on to a soft cloth so you don't lose anything! Next, find the battery area and remove it using the flat edge of a screwdriver or you could use tweezers as well.

Sometimes there is a screw securing the battery in to place - remove this, or there might be a clip you can push over. Place the battery down on the cloth the same way you took it out so that you don't get confused on how to put it back in. Next, place your new working battery in the case in the same position the old one was and place the clip back over the battery or the screw.

Within seconds the watch should start working again. If it does, you can place the gasket back in the watch, replace the cover, and screw everything in.

That's it! You just replaced a battery in your good old discount luxury watch.

When Buying Watches, What Should I Consider?

Buying watches is sort of like purchasing cars—the more features you get, the more money you are going to spend. But of course, the more money you spend, the better the features!

And just like cars, watches come in a variety of price ranges with different features available for each. In fact, before you even start browsing specific makes and models, it's important to consider the price you want to spend, as this is going to directly affect your available options. If you're looking to treat yourself, for example, I recommend brands such as Bulova, Casio, and Charriol. For something even more luxurious, shop big names like A. Lange & Sohne, Breitling, or Cartier.

Now that you've figured out a price, it's time to pick out a style. To begin, think about how you would like to describe your new watch—trendy, rugged, classic, elegant, or sporty, the list goes on and on. Next, figure out specific elements that will help you exemplify this style. For example, people looking for sporty watches should look for heavy-duty chronograph faces, while shoppers in search of something more elegant may want to limit their options to timepieces made primarily our of gold, stainless steel, and diamonds.

Last, figure out what kind of features you require by thinking about your lifestyle. Do you need to know the hour in multiple time zones? To have water resistance up to 300 meters? To protect your purchase with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal case? Answer these questions, and you'll be well on your way to buying discount luxury watches!

The History Timeline Of The Swiss Watchmaker Concord

While the Concord Watch Company is not one of the oldest watchmaker companies in the world, it is one of the most “American” in the word as far as being Swiss Made goes. Concord was founded in 1908 in Biel Switzerland the brand was created to design watches with the American market in mind. It's also one of the more interesting Swiss watch companies as well! Here are a few highlights over the years:

Concord actually made a spot in their history back in 1908 when the company opened one of the first branches in New York City. And in 1968 it was named as being the sixth most popular brand in America.

However, they made their mark a few years before that in 1945 when the then President Harry Truman had given Concord watches to Winston Churchill and Stalin. This was done as a sign of consolidation of relationships between the three of them. In 1969 the then Concord company was bought by G. Greenberg from North American Watch Corporation. The North American Watch Corporation also known as Waltham Watch Company produced roughly 40 million watch products between 1850 and 1957!

In 1979 they broke yet another history record as producing the Delirium which is actually one of the worlds thinnest quartz watches - a mere 1.98mm and in 1986 they marked their first watch in their sports edition by introducing the Saratoga. In 1998 the company celebrated its 90 year anniversary by issuing the new Delirium and Impresario Minute Repeater which are two of their most sought after watches ever - only 90 pieces in all were made.

These days, Concord brands are still considered as being some of the great quality made watches in the business!

What Is A Professional Men's Watch?

I think most people will probably answer this question one of two ways. Some people may say that a professional men's watch is going to be at a specific price (mostly luxury), and that it will have a certain look to it, business-like. But I choose to really go with the other people that describe a professional watch as a watch that professionals can wear - people such as Marines, Army Servicemen, Navy, Aviators, Divers, Special Ops, Special forces, etc. The truth is that there are indeed watches out there that are made specifically for these manly men.

For example, you have a really nice looking watch brand called the Technomarine watch which is specifically made for the Special Forces, Black Ops, Navy and Marines. These watches include some of the most luxurious (appearance) watches in the world, but they also include a lot of vital functions and quality that a service person would want in a watch. Some of these functions include world time zones, two clocks, LCD, compasses, and much more!

Some of these watches are really incredible just to take a peek at, and really, by looks alone, are some of my favorites. Add in the functions and options, and you've got some of the best watches that just about any professional would love to own!

Chronograph Movement Vs Analog - What is The Difference?

If you aren't really into watches and you just buy whatever is available, you might not have even noticed that there is something called a chronograph and something called an analog. The differences between these two types of watches might mean nothing to you, but a lot of people live and die by the type of watches they choose. So if you ever wanted to know the difference, read on! These are two different "styles" as far as watches go. The chronograph usually doesn't describe the "movement" of a watch, instead this usually describes the "complications" of the watches movements.

A watche’s basic complication will be based on anything that is considered advanced, such as advanced functionality, calendars, alarms, world tine zones, etc. The term Chronograph in these situations will usually refer to a type of watch that has "stop watch" details to it - most likely two to three "dials" on the side of the watch which is for things like hours, minutes and seconds. Whereas something like an analog is pretty simply put a watch that has two time hands on a dial which stand for hour and minute - no extras in this watch as far as dials go.

The chronograph watches you find on the market will also have "three" dials on the face as well, whereas a regular watch usually won't have something this fancy. Also, there is such a thing as a digital watch with dials that keep hours, minutes and seconds as well just like the chronograph does - these are called digital chronographs!

At www.Mytimepiece.com you can find chronograph watches, analog watches and discount luxury watches for the lowest prices in the market.

Men’s Sports Watches – A Trip Down Memory Lane

When I was a kid, I used to be obsessed with digital watches. It was not unusual for me to show up to school wearing one on each wrist, maybe even two.

I loved the features: the stopwatch, the alarm clock, the zillion meter water resistance – having all of those tools right on my wrist made me feel important enough to require them. I’d switch the digital display to 24-hour military time and walk around saluting passers by.

I guess we all have to grow up sometimes. Eventually, I learned to shed my geeky wrist attire in favor of something more refined – something with a leather strap that wouldn’t survive a dip in the pool, let alone 200 meters of marine biology.

It wasn’t until after college that I became aware of a glorious middle ground – professional-looking men’s sports watches with all the capabilities and features I’d been pining for. I found a great selection of discount luxury watches, including sports watches, on www.Mytimepiece.com that helped me stock up on my childhood treasures.

Now I have several watches that I love – but don’t worry, I’ve switched to wearing them one at a time.
